Hi, Everyone,
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my website. I am so blessed for your continued interest and sharing my website with others so they can be survivors too of domestic violence and abuse!

This past month has just flown by! The garden is flourishing, especially the Roma tomatoes, and the green beans, and cucumbers! I have taken my veggies to the local Farmer's Market and sold a variety of veggies.

My hubby and I have purchased a mobile home right down the road from us to move his Dad to. We have already scheduled the auction of his home for October 14. He is excited about the move and looking forward to being close to us. This way we can keep better tabs on him and he doesn't have to drive so far! It is only .6 of a mile from our house! Hubby and I are working non-stop to get it ready for him to move in. Many repairs to be made (especially all the broken water pipes!), and so much more. But, it was an opportunity we could not pass up to move him out of his neighborhood which is getting really bad-crime wise! So, it will probably be another few weeks to a month before we can actually move him in. We still  have to have the "closing" on the sale, and hopefully this will be done and over soon.

This year has been a rough year for us with our animals. We had to put to kitties down early in the year as they developed "Giardia" a condition of chronic and constant diarrhea, which is incurable. Then just in July, we had to put or beloved Lab-mix, Clarabell down. She developed liver cancer. It took a great toll on her and we could not let her suffer any longer. Then, just last week, our beloved Woodrow, had to be put down also. He developed a stomach tumor, which was inoperable, and congestive heart failure. He was 18 years old, and Clarabell was 11 years old. They both had a good life here and we miss them so much. They were great dogs, but we had to let them go! They have passed over the "rainbow bridge" and are suffering no more.

So, Lucy-Goosey, is left. She seems to be doing okay without her buddies, and more than likely we will get another dog or puppy soon to have a playmate for her. Probably after we get Dad moved!

I have been so busy with cleaning down at the mobile, weed-whacking, spraying for weeds, washing windows, walls, light fixtures, cupboards, etc., etc. So much to get done.  I am so far behind on my outside work, I don't know when I will get it done! Hubby starts back to teaching tomorrow, so maybe I'll get caught up in the next couple weeks!

I've had some new girls for my WISH sessions, and hopefully they will be able to return. I feel so badly for them and what they are going through. It can be so devastating, confusing, frustrating, and of course, so hurtful, not only physically, but mentally, and sometimes I think the mental games are the worst! Hopefully I will be able to help them feel good about themselves and get their lives back. They sure deserve a better one than they are dealing with now! Don't we all??

Father-in-law is coming down today, and we will be going to the mobile home to work on more pipes and whatever else still needs done.

Take care, and be blessed, and thanks again for stopping by.
Please check out the new "Strangulation" information posted a couple weeks ago on my home page. Very informative!

My best,
Becky :)
