It has been another crazy month! So much going on and so much to do!

This past month I managed to get my part of the garden planted, although some critter stole my zucchini plants the day I planted them, and so I had to resort to planting seeds. They are coming up now. The garden is doing well so far. The 17 year-Cicada's are almost over. The frogs, birds and the dogs have been having a feast of them!

Hubby hurt his back a couple weeks ago lifting Buddy the Beagle into the van for his Vet check and new vaccinations. He was in pretty bad shape for over a week, but is doing better now.

I've been busy with the CCAPL as the plumbing installation has been started out at the animal shelter as of last week. Wow, what a lot of dirt they have to trench out to lay the pipes in. They are working in the kennel area now and will move to the front area soon. So exciting to see happening!

I haven't had hardly any WISH gals to attend. Summer time is usually a down time for attendance.

I'm getting many projects done around the house - flower beds, pond, garden, etc. and that has kept me busy. Hubby and I went fishing last week and we caught many fish. I caught the biggest one-a 17 inch Catfish! We put them all back in after catching them. We might try to go again this week.

I was able to see my sister and her family when they came up from Tenn. for our great nephew's college graduation party a couple weeks ago. It was great to see them all!
