Hi, Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by my website! I do hope you were able to learn and use the valuable information I have here for you and for those going through domestic violence and abuse!

Last evening I took a survivor with me to speak at the "Defenders Group" in Canton. She was in my WISH group for a long time and she did get her life back! She is so happy now, and is a very independent person. She has all her "fur babies" for companionship, and her job, and her house, and she is making it okay. She did a wonderful job last night presenting her story of survival to the group, and they were very receptive to her also. I am so proud of her!

I gave my speech first about my job as WISH Facilitator and told some stories, shared some insight, and gave numerous hand-outs to the group to learn about domestic violence and abuse. I also left one each of my books. One lady in the back asked for them to read. I hope she enjoys them and learns something from them to get a better life for herself.

I've been so busy with APL stuff it is unbelievable! Today I am going out to the land and spray the grass and weeds that have grown up through the shelter pad site. I probably will have to make two trips for water as there isn't any out there yet. Or, maybe I can get some from across the street from the new business owners as the CCAPL, if another of our members makes it out there, he will bring some water too. The APL is going to get their building delivered June 1st to start construction of their no-kill animal shelter! Yippee! So exciting!

Gotta go for now.
Take care, be safe, and be a survivor!
Becky :)
