Hi, Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by my website.
It has been a while since I posted, but I have been so busy with so much going on! Company, company, company, getting outside work done, scrubbed the house and two garages-whew that was a tough job! Working on flower beds to prepare for winter. The garden is almost done. I have a few peppers and some tomatoes (small), that I have to pick today so hubby can now it off. Also have to dig up my sweet potatoes! Because the weather was so dry this summer, I doubt I will get many. Oh, well- next year?

I've been busy at work too. More victims of domestic violence to help any way I can.

October is Domestic Violence month! Sent in a 4-part series to the local newspapers on domestic violence and abuse. My boss and I went before the local commissioners for a "Proclamation" for D.V. for the month of October.

Gearing up for the CCAPL's 7th. annual Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction October 24th. 2015. I've been getting silent auction items and selling tickets as have other volunteers. Should be a great evening when we pull it off.

My elderly, 97 year old Aunt Sue died last week. Went to her funeral yesterday. It was a nice service. We all went across the street and had lunch together.

Hubby is bringing up wood for the winter for the fireplace downstairs. Big Oak tree down in the woods. He dragged up two huge logs yesterday by himself.  I was away so I couldn't help. Maybe today we will do more.

There was a video of a judge berating a victim in the news the other day. She sentenced the victim to three days in jail because she failed to show up for a court hearing to testify against her husband who strangled her and abused her badly. She was in fear for her life. What is wrong with this Judge? She needs to educate herself to help victims not punish them and victimize them all over again! Stupid Judge!

Buddy the Beagle is doing well! He races around the yard and follows Lucy everywhere! He is running on his badly injured leg as though it never was broken in two and pinned. So glad he is doing better. He is becoming a very happy dog! He and Lucy play and have lots of fun together!

Sorry this is short today. I have many things to get done and prepare for the week coming up too.
Stay safe, and learn all you can about domestic violence. It could safe a life, even your own!
Best to you,
Becky :)
