Hi, Everyone,
For all of you who have stopped by and visited my website in the last couple months, thank you!

I have been extremely busy with so much going on! Hubby and I purchased a mobile home in a little piece of property back in early August, and have been working on getting it fixed up, cleaned, and numerous repairs to be made, as we planned on moving his Dad into it when it was ready. Well, Dad moved in a couple weeks ago, and we are still working on fixing, repairing, and updating stuff! Dad's auction is this coming Tuesday, October 14th. and that part will be over! Then we wait for the closing, and that will all be over and done with. He really likes the new place and he takes walks up and down the roads, visits the neighbors pond, and sits out front on his porch and back deck.

So, needless to say, besides taking Dad back and forth to Canton (where he lived), for numerous meetings with the "Merry Maids", to clean the house, the security people to set up a security system while the house is empty, the termite inspectors, and numerous other trips, plus meeting the DISH for his TV's, the phone company (that was a nightmare in itself), the new furnace/air conditioning people, setting up his Lifeline down at the new place, numerous phone calls for his change of address, etc., it has been taking a lot of my time. In between, the CCAPL had their huge benefit dinner and silent auction on Oct. 4th. and I was preparing for that too. Now I am trying to catch up on flower beds, pond, inside and outside work! Whew! Next I will be starting on numerous grants that are due in December for the CCAPL's no-kill animal shelter construction. 

I did take a couple Monday's off from work to get things done. One of my WISH girls finally got her divorce from her abusive-drug addicted husband! She has survived and is moving on-yeah! Good for her! Now her and her daughter can make a better life for themselves.
